Yeah, that's why the scene at the opera confuses me now. If it wasn't jealousy, then what the hell was it? (Granted, we only know that Tobias was supposedly into Franklyn because Franklyn said so, and "I'm ALWAYS wrong!!") Unless it wasn't that Tobias was tagging along with Franklyn (which was my assumption)--it was that Franklyn asked Tobias to get him into the charity opera thing so he could follow Lecter around. And then Tobias watched him stare the whole time and was like, seriously, this is why you wanted me to take you here? REALLY?

...or maybe Tobias was secretly flattered by Franklyn even as he was annoyed and is just bothered that he's not getting all that attention any more.
