Re: Portuguese cleaning lady: I'd have to go back and check, but I'm almost certain she said "Portuguese" instead of "Brazilian," because it struck me as being weird at the time, too. Maybe I need to go back and put a big "[sic]" in there.

ETA: Okay, I went back and checked, and she really does say "Brazilian," so I do need to correct that and give her credit for using the right word.

I still wonder where the hell she got libishomem from. Seriously. It doesn't exist.

Yeah, I can't explain that one, either.

Well, there´s the word Lobisomem in brazilian´s Portuguese, that means Werewolf. But libishomem doesn´t exist.

But then, in Midnight Sun she uses some completely random Spanish phrases, and what´s worse, it´s a Spanish teacher who says them. Something like: Puedas tu ayuda a tu hermano. That doesn´t make any sense at all, it should be something like Puedes ayudar a tu hermano or something like that.

Someone must introduce the Google Translator to Stephenie Meyer.

Oooor someone shouldn´t have done that.
