Twilight Tuesday OF TERROR
Okay, y'all, the Tour of Terror is really starting to scare me. I mean, I was kind of rubbing my hands all anthropologically like BRING ON THE CRAZY, but--wow, this got real crazy real fast.
Reports from the Apple store last night: USAToday: 'Twilight' fans show some blood lust for star Robert Pattinson; LJer photos; EW on the scene: 'Twilight' Q&A with Robert Pattinson and Catherine Hardwicke.But that's just the effect Twilight star Robert Pattinson has on his rabid teen -- and adult -- fans, some of whom waited in line for more than 12 hours to be dazzled by the heartthrob during a Q&A session with Twilight director Catherine Hardwicke.
I've been to enough Twilight events to know what to expect: screaming girls -- lots of them. Though this wasn't my first time at the vampire rodeo, even I was worried about one young Twilight-hoodie-bedecked teen sitting behind me, who was shaking so violently I thought she might go in to convulsions.
So... the Planet Hollywood event in Times Square at 5 pm today: more or less crazy? I fear to ask. Maybe if you set up camp now, you can get into the TRL taping on Thursday. Also: Pattinson is a member of...Team Jacob?!? "I'd go with Jacob," Pattinson said. "Jacob is way more interesting...If you have a girlfriend that's like Edward...yeah, you're hot and everything, but just shut up."
Yeah, I started clapping like a seal again. It's like he has absolutely no filter between his brain and his mouth and everything that falls out is gold.
Rob, Kristen & Stephenie to be on Moviefone's Unscripted. I find this to be patently unfair as they never have writers on otherwise, and there is no way the actors can say anything interesting with Stephenie Meyer sitting right there. You know, like, "Yeah, you're hot and everything, but just shut up." This is why we can't have nice things.
Seventeen magazine questionnaires: someone was saying that they're old, but I didn't see them posted until yesterday, so they're new to me. And HILARIOUS: Kellan Lutz: Obsessed with Judge Judy, girls' lip balm (strawberry, "that one just took my breath away!"), and Tristan and Isolde; Jackson Rathbone: Carries money in his boots, kind of sounds like he has an amazing family, ends an answer with "Alas"; Robert Pattinson: Claims he has a crush on Kristen Stewart, dreamed about her the night before, and... Who would play you in the movie version of your life?
I'd play it because I probably won't be employed after this.
