LOL! This was all of the things I wanted to see happen in/after the show *squishes fic* I always love going-back-to-the-diner scenes but I especially loved the personalities that came out from the background and I love the idea of them being at the wedding *pets* I just love it all! Thanks, Cleo! :D

Yay! I wanted to see Vala introduce Sal to her boyfriend (and possibly her other friends) so that he'd know she really did have a family who cared for her, so I was delighted to see this plot bunny rear its fluffy little head :D

Love this! I think this is the first story I've read where Vala returns to the diner. Ending was just perfect and, as usual, I just adore you Vala voice... so true to form!

YESSSS Vala rolls the convertible Mini Coop -- John Cooper Works, natch.

I much prefer Bobbie as the waitress's name instead of Bonnie, from her nametag. Has more character, and she's so delightful here, I want more Bobbie fic.

"They're all great, except Louie... stupid bastard got out of the house two months ago and got himself hit by a car. Now the boys have adopted a Saint Bernard puppy that's trying to eat us out of house and home."

Oh dear. Looks like that Shih Tzu with the gastrointestinal problems finally met its sorry fate.

"So much for my theory she was abducted by aliens," joked one of the only two patrons of the restaurant

I swear, DMVs in my state are like the waiting room of Hell.

I imagined them going in there at around 10am on a weekday... too early for the lunch rush, too late for the got-to-get-to-work-now crowd. I've never stood in a DMV line for longer than twenty minutes because I deliberately pick odd times to go... and I'm from a small town from a small-minded state :p

Yeahsureyabetcha! My first thought was a convertible Beetle, but then decided that a Cooper would be more her style :)

The only thing I had to go on at the time--this was a rush job, after all :D--was a fuzzy still from my DVDs... I could make out "BO**IE" and the only thing that came to mind was "Bobbie". Truth be told, I like "Bobbie" a lot better, too :)

Freaken SoCal DMVs are packed from open to close; even making an appointment doesn't diminish the time you spend waiting.

"Vala and I are linguistic consultants for the Air Force... Middle Eastern languages, specifically."

Forgot to mention how I like that Daniel's telling the truth (but not ALL of it) to create a pretext, sort of like the way Vala did on the Prometheus.

I was completely snowed! I never saw the marriage license coming until the last line. Love how very happy they both were and Vala had her own friends to invite too. Loved it!
