This is Murray Braver. He has something to say about health care. It isnt funny or sarcastic or anything like that.. just a man speaking openly about his, and many other peoples, dilemma. The greater tragedy with Mr Braver, and folks like my mother, is that someone can legally charge whatever they want for medications. I mean, be real, a medication that costs $900 here and in another country costs $100?

One thing he might want to look into is that most health insurance companies have a clause of sorts, that as long as you were covered under a prior health plan, you cannot be denied health coverage for a pre-existing condition. I think as long as the lapse in coverage is less then 3 months. Since Mr Braver chose to continue his with Cobra, then he has no lapse in coverage at all. IF he was able to still work, he could probably still get covered. Each state does vary.
