The Lord of the Rings: The Musical

To me it is a truth so self-evident as to require no articulation:

The Lord of the Rings should not be a Broadway musical.

(And yet, here I am articulating it.) It should especially not be a 3 hour and 40 minute musical. That truth, however, was far from self-evident to someone… many someones in fact… including the government of Ontario…

heh. a squadron of vengeful houseplants trained in the martial arts! that actually sounds rather comical.... but i really can't believe that anyone would be stupid enough to do the lord of the rings as a broadway musical. really!

Ah yes. the government of Ontario and many municipality governments therein are quite stupid. I don't know if I have expressed to you the utter stupidity of Peterborough's town motto/slogan. On all the buses and public works automobiles that go through the city they have: Peterborough, it's a natural. Not it's a natural thing or it's natural but, it's a natural. Which makes ME break out in exuberant fake italian and go "it's-a-natural" well in drunk bafoonery.
