I've been on a trip to Ohio to see family since Tuesday with mom and mach_spass. In this time period, I have made several observations:

-If I ever decide to become a junkie, for whatever reason, I will have to use pediatric needles because I have rather tiny veins.
-I really, really, really cannot wait for Germany. Like no tomorrow. Speaking German with mach_spassRead more... )

Cornfields really aren't that exciting. But then again, I don't think Amish people are that exciting either :P

I know, right? People are fascinated and I don't quite get it. There aren't any Amish in my area, but there are some near where my grandma lives.

I'll be doing a year abroad in Bremen. I'm really excited-- I'll hopefully be using this journal as a blog to link to my school if I can get my act together about posting regularly. :/

Since you can't wait for Germany, here is some german:

Du wirst dich noch wundern, wie unfähig die Deutschen sind, deutsch zu sprechen und vor allem, zu schreiben. Nach der Rechtschreib-Reform und der Grammatik-Reform ging hier sprachlich alles den Bach herunter ;)

Ich hoffe, dass ich die Sprache verstehen kann! :)

I suppose I won't be visiting cornfields anytime soon, then.

You find them boring too?

I don't think I've ever even been to one, or not in a long time, but you make them sound boring enough so I'll just... not visit one and say I did.

Oh Doitsu-taichou~

I hope you go crazy in Germany, but more importantly I hope you write lots and post lots of pictures. :)

Going along with the "it's fun to roadtrip with a crazy best friend" statement, it's unfortunately the opposite of fun to roadtrip with a crazy person you don't know, which I discovered on my trip to Disneyland this month.
