The Doctor does not believe in fate. He believes in time. He believes that things have a way they are meant to be and that though flux may occur, though events will change, in the end time will eventually take it’s course and whatever will be will be.
It sounds very similar, but it’s not. (
It's really not. )

Liked the way you put the story together in all directions-gives a good sense of what it might be like for the Doctor, living without reference to other folks' continuities.

I'm a big fan of that conflict, of what he can do and what he can't do. I'm fascinated by the idea of knowing what comes next, but being unable to do anything about it, just having to sit and watch. I'm glad you like this, I was really, really worried about it! =D

Plus, I have this thing about fate and self-fulfilling prophecies. They're fascinating, and I've always wanted to find a way to do something like this. I'm SO glad you liked it, thank you so much!
