Art Credits
+ The title collage is all made from torn up New York magazine pages.
+ The Met-themed panel features these pieces (mined from the
Met's awesome and extensive website): DS 1958 by David Smith; Winter Pool by Robert Rauschenberg; Cupid with the Arms of Mars by Adamo Scultori; Statuette of the Diadoumenos (youth tying a fillet around his head), a copy of a Greek bronze statue by Polykleitos; Nude Standing by the Sea by Pablo Picasso; and a bit from the Egyptian Book of the Dead.
+ The dog park panel uses a pawprint brush from
Obsidian Dawn and the
dog park listings from the NYC Parks Department. (I used to hang out and dog-watch at the one in Washington Square, it was awesome.)
+ I tried to paint a subway tunnel for the Urban Exploring panel. I didn't exactly succeed, so photoshopped it to death and slapped text over it. Also, Wikipedia would love to share some information about
the mole people with you.
+ The planetarium panel uses a constellations brush found
here and a photo from the
Rose Center for Earth and Space, which is gorgeous.
+ Photo of the Union Square Trader Joe's by David Shankbone, found
here on Wiki.
