What I'd like to know is why they changed "SciFi" to "SyFy." Now instead of thinking it's an abbreviation for "Science Fiction," I just think it's an abbreviation for "Seymore, F*** you!"
As for the show, I don't watch TV, so I don't know it, but it sounds pretty cool.
And yes, I generally avoid PI forums (and PI in general) these days. PI fangirls make my eyeballs bleed.
IT was a pretty decent show. :) Nice to see them adding a new take onto such a classic.
I think the reason they changed from SciFi is that you can't really trademark (or whatever it's called >,<) the word SciFi since it's such a generic term. So changing it to SyFy allows for that ownership.
That and partially to sort of 'relaunch' with their newish line after their shows became better quality and more liked, thus bringin them into more money. :D
