Boing Boing posted a link to this collection of old Bill Waterson cartoons that predate his ascent to fame and riches on the back of the miscreant six year old and his feline friend. It's interesting seeing these characters that are different, but in the same style.

Well, considering Bill Waterson's joy about Calvin Copyright, I suspect he wouldn't like it. The students, on the other hand, would simply jump for joy. They never, ever complain about grades anyway, right, so this is probably ... an amusing shorthand. Yeaaaaaaah.
