Hmm. Of all the stories I have several copies for, this has undergone the fewest changes. Can't think of any jokes worse than the ones that are already here.

Ian did see this one! Lucy said once that he and Nick thought it would be funny to do a voice-tape of it...

Oh, good lord, if they'd ever made a tape of that I think I would have gone broke trying to acquire of it. I definitely have to nudge Mona at this one...

And there's the gallant Doctor, of course, willing to throw himself into the fray yet again for his favorite species. I'm sure any of his incarnations would have nobly steeled themselves to the task, as it were. (If you're dabbling in the old fics, try the one labeled "Time After Time After Time...")

The jokes wrote themselves for this one, I don't know if I can take credit for merely succumbing to irresistable temptation.
