i can recommend two things whole-heartedly: stealing digital information, and watching michael moore's sicko two weeks before anyone else you know.  both can be accomplished by a quick little tour of http://tv-links.co.uk, a pretty bomb website by all accounts.

basically, all americans owe it to themselves to see that film.  i haven't choked up

Tv-links is amazing, but to sound like a huge, ridiculous dork, I kind of want to give my money to Michael Moore. Or to the statistics about box-office openings, anyway. Considering the type of movies the local theaters get here, though, I might just have to watch it online anyway. I'm glad to hear it's good, though!

I got involved with the free culture chapter at UNC this year. But still. I guess I didn't get completely involved? I get the bootlegging, I would just rather continue to go to theaters, for the feeling of solidarity with the other ten people in pickens county, SC, interested in the things I am mainly, but for the whole money thing too. I know that very little of it goes to Michael Moore and co, and that my one ticket doesn't really matter, but still! It's not like I can't afford that $7, and despite thinking that bootlegging, etc, is ok, I still feel kind of ridiculous getting it for free when paying is within range of possibily.

because i watched it on tv-links, but the internet police must have taken it down. for shame!

i'm sure it will either be back up soon, or you can always use bittorrent.
