Diane, totally loved the way you were still able to use your comment 2/10 having realized there was more to 1/10. You are one sneaky person. You were able to recapture Clark, under the cops nose and remove the message from Lex's phone. You also left Clark thinking his mother was dead. Oh, gotta love it. Oh, gotta love it. Hope my twist didn't totally derail where you are going. I kinda like how the story becomes more realistic when others opinions and ideas are thrown into the story.

Not at all, it took a brief edit, but I think that probably improved it anyway (as you note, allowing edge to take Clark right out from under the noses of the police department), which thoroughly fits in with an earlier mentioned theme of Edge toying with Clark's sense of hope and freedom.

I absolutely agree that it's become addictive as well. I find myself looking forward to adding something new every week to see how it might turn out.

Sort of an experiment in the Butterfly effect.

Love how you have thrown Lionel into the mix of those who know where Clark is being held. It is soooo Lionel to feel superior because he knows something that Lex does not. He is certainly a cold bastard. I am confused as to his lack of interest in Clark, though. He seemed pretty determined to get samples of Clark, if not Clark himself, to study on the Show.

I know I posted to this earlier, but for some reason it's now showing... ah well,earlier, I felt that as we've been a bit Au in the story, perhaps Lionel's interest is only just developing, but the more I think about it, I think it would be better presumed that Lionel knows Edge too well to completely trust him and wouldn't admit to Morgan that Clark is worth anything to him.
