Ya know things have nasty way of happening if you talk about 'em enough.

That said, I choose a rifle with a lot of ammo.

Because there is no way in hell that I'm getting that close to a zombie (I don't care if the report draws 'em) and if by some unfortunate chance I do get that close then I can beat it to death (again) with the butt of the rifle

My two handed sword is unlikely to run out of ammunition.

I once ran across a neat little game where you could use everything from Tire Irons, to wooden boards to Grenade Launchers.
