I pray that it did not. Give it a few more days before you worry though. In this place things are never certain.

...It's hard to predict if a person will show back up again or not. And many times I am uncertain whether it is for the best one way or another.

...In our case, I can't be sure which is better--there are several dangers I know are waiting back home for him.

There are dangers just being here as well. It makes it a hard choice in some cases, if one were given one.
