what people think of me most of the time remains a mystery. the other day, a girlfriend of mine randomly blurts out, "I think I know why we weren't friends for so long. we were wary of one another."

I'm not sure exactly what you believe about "religion" or "spirituality" or the lack of feeling you have about either. I am pretty sure I know you're not really into it. but it's frustrating not to be able to reply to such accusations, even if just to tell her what you think and perhaps even thank her for her concern. I would actually be driven nuts by that. I, for one, would actually be interested to know what you think. if you ever feel like writing on here about it or just writing me an e-mail, you know where I am.
and for the record, I've always thought you were the bee's knees. and I'll turn were into are. chin up, tiger.
