Expensive doggies, sorry. My tollerance would have ended at the power cords. My kittens have a taste for white cabling, like the computer chargers, iPod cables, drawstrings for blinds, the indoor/outdoor thermometer... They also love hair ties, so I gave them all the ones I don't like, so long as there's no metal bits.

The thermometer is the only thing they've managed to chew through, and I spliced that. It's now mounted HIGH up on the wall. They did tear some holes in the honeycomb blinds, but it's not too obvious. More white stuff to attack.

Yeah, but what are you going to do? I'm obviously fed up with this, but it's not like I'm going to get rid of my dog because she's too stupid to learn and likes to eat electronics. *sigh*

Oh, absolutely. I guess there's a limit to how much you can put away, but how about a coffee table with a drawer to stash remotes?

After the remotes got eaten the first time, we got the dog pen for when we aren't home and a box for the remotes on the coffee table. That works pretty well, assuming we remember to put the remotes in the box (i.e. a/c remote chewing)

It's the worst combination for a techie household, to have a dog who loves eating electronics.

Our Wii remotes live in a box far out of dog reach. I meant to keep my DS in its case to minimize dog risk, but this time I'd just put it down for maybe ten minutes on the bed and then heard the dreaded sounds of dog chewing.
