Ok, now THIS is the kind of stuff that frustrates me. This is one of the things I'm really passionate about and have wanted to do since I was a child and some guy who thinks he knows even a significant amount of information about the program is destroying it before my very eyes. Although a reasonable case could be made against continuing the Shuttle program, he doesn't present it well. Sometimes his ignorance is just laughable. I don't think he realizes that the entire NASA budget today is 0.7% of the federal budget, a six-fold decrease since Apollo. It's also kind of funny to read since he contradicts himself in a few places.
