1.) take absolutely no pleasure in your pain.
2.) know that façade well. in fact... a lot of people do, but people are afraid to take off their masks no matter how much they hurt inside.
3.) am here for you, and i'm not the only one. i'll never judge you. i'm your friend.
4.) want to see you okay for real. unfortunately, i'm not sure what that really looks like. we're always hiding something.
5.) want you to be safe. especially if you're going to drink all your worries away.
6.) want you to promise me that you'll talk to one of us before you do anything drastic. i mean really talk too. face to face. no phoniness. no pretenses. you say what you think and feel. we listen. we say what you need to hear (which might be nothing at all). we listen.
7.) love you. (that one is probably the most important. the people posting here wouldn't if we didn't. we're not making that up. so remember that even if you can't find it from the person you want right now, there are people who do love you.)

i know this isn't a suicide note, but i stand by what i said.

also and more importantly, the last sentance of #6 should read "you listen."

so yeah...

i know this isn't a suicide note, but saying that youre going to drink all your problems away might not be far from that. i know it hurts and its hard, but don't do anything harmful to yourself. she's obviously not worth it. love you, man.
