Here in rural Southern Missouri, and maybe everywhere for all I know, when the old folks die (or go into a home or move to town), they have what they call a "sale," which would more properly be called an auction.  They bring everything out of the house and barn and auction it off.  Some really nice things and a lot of junk.  The auctioneers have
