I don't know if it strikes everyone the way it strikes me, but I think the music, poetry, play-writing, fiction, and political speech from a century and more ago is much superior to those of today.  To me, this indicates that the level of intelligence of people in the level of society where these are produced has gone down significantly.  I have ( Read more... )

The hope is that the Libertarians will be truer, seeing as how the ideology emphasizes reason. Sometimes I think they will, and other times I look at them and see more imposters laying claim to an ideology they do not live up to, for the purpose of duping the voters yet again. I hope that's just me being cynical.

There are two separate ideas that are frequently conflated into one theme...

I'll elaborate on these in more detail.
