I finally did a proper camping trip this year. We went to Leemen Lake and had to travel through three National Parks to get there. It was a 12.5 Km hike into the lake over a mountian pass. It was probably the hardest hike I have ever taken. Got lost a half half dozen, crossed through creeks needlessly, and had just an awesome time. Found a cool ( Read more... )

I have found that my bed is extremely comfortable. I have to say it is working well for me. It may be my downfall in my attempt to start getting regular exercise once school starts. So I'm in my new place. I came home a day early from holidays to fix up the room before I moved my stuff in. I painted the walls a reddy brown with a blue feature wall which was a pain in the ass to paint. I have finally joined the ranks of those with cell phones. how depressing. The only positive out of all of this is that I can actually use my cell phone to teach myself Japanese with its mp3 player features(it is a sony with walkman capabilities). May my life continue to spiral into oblivion. damn phones

People are stupid. And not just someone in particular but everyone in general b/c everyone does this. I just had a insanely difficult argument with someone and finally conceded to them just to have them change their mind and take my side. Does this seem normal or right?

So I did get to go rafting and it ruled. I had a boat to myself and an infinite supply of vitamin D. It was great. I am now pleasently crispy and just in a good mood. All in all, it was an awesome weekend.
