Adelaide's post about Russian fairytales made me wish I had brought my book back to Sydney called 'Russian Short Stories' which I found in a second-hand bookstore somewhere in the UK. I love the simplicity with which Russian short stories are often written and the darkness of life they are unafraid to depict in order to ultimately reveal some kind
