Ugh. You've got to wonder WTF she is thinking sticking w/an asshole like that.

I'm kinda burnt out too - it's hard being an activist! I have to break for a year because of my job (I am not allowed political affiliations). Hopefully I'll feel back up next year.

NARAL has great intentions and I love them but sometimes I don't think they are as politically/media savvy as they should be.

Exactly what I thought, not that I can say much about it :( Guess I'll get used to feeling powerless in situations like that and just keep my head up knowing I'm there to help by doing what I can.

I have to say that NARAL has really lost it. State orgs, though, aren't as...clueless.

And with petitions, people are SO reluctant to put their names down where anyone will see. If they just sign something that then gets hidden away and isn't sitting on the table for the next person to see, they're more likely to do it.
