how old does one need to be a clinic escort?
i really want to do this but am having trouble finding clinics around me (ridgewood, new jersey, near new york city) that need escorts (which leads me to my next question- do ALL clinics have escorts?)
i dont know much about the topic and would love to learn. so thank you in advance.

I think a clinic would have to be out of their minds to use anyone under 18, but I have heard that some do.

And no, not all clinics have escorts. Not all clinics have protesters, so they don't all need escorts.

My best advice is to call your local NARAL chapters and see if they have a clinic defense program. If that doesn't work, call the clinics individually and prepare to be treated like a lunatic. If that also doesn't work -- well, there are other great things you can do to defend reproductive rights.

I'm guessing 18 as well - if anything happened and you were injured they wouldn't want parents suing if you're under 18.

Another thing you can do is contact Planned Parenthood and get the contact info for your local chapter's Volunteer Coordinator, that's who hooked me up with the clinic I escort for in Colorado.

Eh, it depends. My clinic generally had women over 18, but the son of one of the NPs escorted throughout high school.
