winter tips, anybody?

Okay, so escorting in the spring is nice.  Escorting in the summer is tolerable with a bit of sunscreen and a water bottle.  Escorting in the fall is beautiful.  But what tips do people have for escorting in the winter?  If I bundled up as much as I'd like out here, I'd scare off the patients with my alien appearance!

Funny, that is exactly what I used today before even seeing this reponse. I love handwarmers! They are nice to put up to your nose, too. :) Must get a good thermos soon. Ooooh the ice was bad today, with patients, escorts, staff, and protesters slipping and sliding everywhere. Wheeeee!

I used to have a pair of boots that they would fit inside of (fleece insides), over my toes. That was reeeeeally nice and toasty,

L.L. Bean has some good winter stuff, including jeans lined with fleece on the inside.
