In this age of digital art and virtual creations, hand-crafted things have become exponentially more beautiful to me. Lovely stuff.

Coming from someone who creates gorgeous surreal dreamscapes by hand, I'm both flattered...and humbled, indeed. I mean, they're just greeting cards, maing-- I've got no delusions about the things.

The hand-painted covers of Pills, Thrills, Chills, and Heartache, however?

Now those...THOSE are a different story, entirely.

Of course, I'm fully with you on the tip of "digital this" and "virtual that..." There's not only the lack of imperfection (which can render a full spectrum of emotions); there's a complete lack of the artist being 'present.'

Said another way?

There's no soul in them, maing... no soul.

Glad you caught 'em, and even more so that you realize what verbage was inserted with a chuckle and a wink.

They were supposed to be the tags on Dirk's upload, actually-- but after multiple complications, he just said "F It" and opted for the K.I.S.S.* method instead.

(as in: "Keep It Simple, Stupid.")

All the same,
Thanks for the shout-out!

Months ago when www.clintcatalyst.com launched, I didn't anticipate posting on the ol' LJ again.

However, my lack of WordPress prowess--and that's putting it lightly--doesn't permit comments from others unless they also have WP accounts.

Yet another thing to "look into later"--

I've gotta head out of here, and
