I moved to the Chicago area from Boston in July and am a friend of rigel. I'm about to move from Lake in the Hills to Chicago, near Pillsen (it's on the Pink line). I'm really excited to be getting into the city proper, trying to jobhunt and have a social life while living way the fuck out here has been a bit of a challenge.
I think you will find Chicago much more fullfilling and fun the Lake in the Hills. If you have any questions or need any information about chicago, I will certainly do my best to get you the answers. Hope your move goes well.

Thank you so much. My roomie and I did not take the Pilsen place and are still looking. I will definitely like living in Chicago proper better than LitH, I'm really enjoying my city explorations.
