[LARP Thinking] Bring me your unfounded rumors...

...about 2014/2015 LARPs!

As I am currently PC-less, and have recently been fired parted ways with the game I was Staffing, my eyes have turned to the future, and I call upon you, O Best Beloveds, for your wild conjecture and unfounded rumors. :)

Ooooh, Ted and Brent were still being super-secretive as of last week. Now you know more than I do! Where was this announced?

Are you only interested in new accelerant games?

Book of Faces indeed, but I also spied it with my little eye on Google+.

Are you only interested in new accelerant games?

Hrm. I am a bit wary of the combo of (a whole new rules-set) + (peeps I do not know) + (new LARP concept), but am willing to entertain thoughts of other systems if they are suitably awesome?

You are likely to know far more than I will about about Accelerant or NERO stuffs. :)

Some of the folks who run Witchwood are friends of mine, who I used to larp with. (Long story goes here.) If my dance card were not full I would be playing or NPCing there. I believe this is a long-term open-ended game.

Another friend plays Covenant and shamelessly plugs it shamelessly and frequently. Per their website they have a finite plot arc in mind, but IIRC the team behind it has run multiple games which I think are related

Several folks I know have been involved with Tales of Valor in one mode or another. I don't think I've heard much about that one recently, though.

In short term fixes, you're aware of Intercon? That's RSN, though, and lots of the games on their schedule have filled. That said, there are always last-minute drop-outs, and if you are feeling extroverted, folks there will know about larping of all flavors and be happy to talk about them.

"* I have been lucky enough to hear about a new Mac game, possibly with a crossover fantasy/tech theme?"

Confirmed! The game CrossOver is currently in the development phase, aiming for game start in 2016.

I haven't set up anything like that for the game yet, but I probably will when the first teaser(s) are ready. When I do, I'll post on LJ, G+, and the Endgame player list so people know where to look.

And is Brantwood the site you'd most likely run at? Or is it too early to say?

Be well.
