I've been meaning to make a post about the fact that my mom is sick. My thoughts and feelings about it all are rather conflicted, which is why I don't really like to talk about it and have this avoided writing about it.

As far as I know the treatment at this moment is fairly straight forward. It sounds like she'll have surgery next month and then hormone therapy or something--no chemo and preferably no radiation due to her condition.
