My darling MIL was kind enough to give me a large box of lovely apples from her very own tree. After freezing 3 large freezer bags worth for pies later in the winter I still have a lot of apples. So I am making several things with them

You're swimming in apple heaven. Well now you are. You might slip in to apple hell. I thought I would never get tired of tomatoes. Love them. Grew them. They took over the garden, then the yard. Toward the end of the summer, I grew to hate them. Enough of them.

BUT....I looked at the recipe. Sigh...I'm ready for apple anything.

Well since I only have 1 box of apples and I am nearing the bottom of it I doubt apple hell will be here any time soon.

The cider is simmering right now and the house smells amazing though.
