i just need a change. & i'm conducting an experiement with it, really. i cut it on Dec. 27, so basically at the beginning of '06, i want to see how long it takes to get long :P

As a guy, I tried that. Last haircut was Oct 1st and I made it up until the pics I posted of when I shaved my head. I was really hoping to make it to 6-7 inches long or so, but it was driving me nuts.

Good luck on your experiment and if you need any help going for a "Vendetta" look, just let me know...hahaha!!!

Just think, you were SO ahead of your time. You were shaved when shaving wasn't cool. So what is the next trend you wanna set? ;)

BLAH I hate how people are acting like women in the media shaving their heads started with Natalie Portman. What about Sinead O' Connor? Or Joan Jett? Natalie's not the first high profile actress to do it either. Remember Demi Moore? Natalie Portman looks like an ostrich with her head shaved anyway.

I really hope shaving your head doesn't become the next hip hair-do fad.

I don't think it'll catch on that much, but it IS amazing how many people can be influenced by such simple things. Like a girl I used to work with. She's a lesbian and came into work the day after Melissa Etheridge came out claiming she was the greatest singer ever and how she was gonna buy all of her CD's. Hell, I knew she had talent for years before that. Yet, the day before that, I could've asked her who she was and she'd a female vocal artist.

I'm a straight 19 year old girl and I think natalie Portman looks hot! haha. I've always wanted to shave my head and i think she is a great inspiration. I almost shaved all of my long hair off after seeing that movie too...if only I'd look as cute!
