....and it was driving me crazy. I have that limp, lifeless crap that you can't do anything with. So, with a 4 day holiday weekend just starting (yay!!!), I figured that I would give myself a haircut that I've never had before. The first pic is about after 3 swipes across my head:

omg i agree with eamajyn! ;)

i actually liked the mohawk a bit...I don't like the totally clean shaven look on too many people. i think certain people can pull it off and look great! others...need a little scruff on the head. i think you need a little something...something to add color to your head...and make your eyes pop more.

Thank you! Usually, if I have it just "buzzed", it is around an 1/8" or so to add to contrast. I just hadn't tried either style (mohawk or totally shaved) before and just went for it. I might have kept the hawk longer than a few minutes if I would have gotten it straighter ;)

Also, I wanted to reply back to your reply about the Christmas Santas. I looked at your pictures and they were wonderful. As far as your mom's cancer, hang in there. If you ever have questions or want to talk about it, let me know because I have been there before and might be able to relate to how you are feeling.

Thanks! You ladies are making me feel pretty good. Sometimes I feel old and all washed up being as that I have kids and all. I wasn't quite sure what kind of response I'd get. As far as the hawk goes, it was kinda cool, but was a bit crooked and I'd probably get alot of $hit at work come next week if I showed up with it.

Aw. You should've kept the hawk but faded it out from the crown up like a psychobilly do. But who doesn't like a clean cut? Wouldn't you know that I just got a really nice cut recently, but I can't upload any damn pictures cause my internet is busted? :( Soon! But as for you, I think you'd look good with maybe a one or a two. A little peachfuzz to get a rub and all that, you know?

Thanks! If I was gonna have the "hawk faded psychobilly do" that you mentioned, I'd have to have a pro cut it (or someone like yourself who seems to master a killer fade). As is, it was a bit crooked, especially towards the back, so it had to go.

Last summer, I kept it at a #1, trimming it about every 3-4 weeks so that it never got past a #3 or #4 length. Plus it is soft at that point, instead of like sandpaper now.

As for you, I WANT TO SEE PICS!!! ;) Seems like forever since I've seen any of you, especially with your hair cut nicely (you went through that growout stage for awhile).
