Ashley takes on TOKIO.
So, I've always been tempted to go the TOKIO way, see if I like it. Oh gosh, how is this a way to describe dipping a toe into the waters of fandom? ANYWAY! After watching some variety shows over the past few weeks (which, ah! AHHH!), and tonight was me finally getting around to watching my first TOKIO con...
So, Taichi, I like Taichi, I've liked Taichi for a while, and in fact, Taichi was my favourite, but no~ SUGAR had to ruin that~ Okay, okay, so I may have been ridiculously proud of my not having a leader favourite for once...
Let's review some of Ashley's favourites~
V6 Sakamoto. *_________*

Arashi Ohno. (Though, I'd like to note, he just needs to dance and act with his face. No words needed. No singing needed.)
KAT-TUN Ueda. (What, he was supposed to be before they decided they didn't need one.)
I could keep going, but the pattern remains the same! I am not kidding, and I don't even mean for it to happen. D:
So! So, I set up defences against being swayed to the Leader side. I resisted! I insisted that it wouldn't happen, but wouldn't you know it... HE JUST HAS TO WEAR A FUCKING SKIRT AND BE FABULOUS IN IT! Okay, okay, it's not just the skirt, I could feel myself swaying while I was watching variety shows, and I resisted! His mannerisms are adorable from what I've seen! His smile is fantastically adorable, and squish, and ah! Ah! Oh, and I will note, just wearing a skirt doesn't exactly mean absolute love, I mean, look at Tegoshi. Oh, Tegoshi, I like you, but at the same time, neither of these skirt wearing cases have the same feel. My Leader charm defences faded fast, oh gosh, Leader, why are you so awesome? (I feel like I could also mention Ken here... Oh Ken~)

"Okay, so I definitely like this. Ah, Taichi~"
"Is that a skirt? IS THAT A FUCKING SKIRT? LEADER, WHY ARE YOU LIKE THIS? I... I... DAMMIT, I CAN'T RESIST ANY LONGER! WHY DID YOU HAVE TO WEAR A SKIRT? I'M MELTING~"
"Oh, there's music... Let's try to concentrate... Leader, your skirt is so pretty~ Ah, so lovely~ You work that skirt so well~"
Anyway, the point is that I was happy being a Taichi fan, and then Leader had to drive over with his panda car. Pssh... (I will note, having a favourite in a group isn't a requirement at all, but somehow there is always that one that shines just a little bit brighter. Okay, and I may just be having fun writing this. Best way to combat a headache and hyper activity together!)
Anyway, back to TOKIO. It seems I like TOKIO more than I thought I would (okay, so I'm like this with all non-V6 groups, because I dived into the V6 life already knowing I'd like them), and ugh, TOKIO~ Your music is so grand! It really packs a punch to me, and you may have even surpassed NEWS with your music. I have yet to decide this... Your con was so interesting and fun to watch! I wasn't ever really bored, and that is a fantastic thing. Such a fantastic thing~
Clearly I need more TOKIO music in my life.
Anyway, that insanity out of the way, I would once again like to thank basil_ovelby again for suggesting I watch SUGAR. :D
