And? What are YOU going to do about it? Sometimes, you have to realize that some/most people are huge assholes, and accept that they will never appreciate you for the amazing being that you are, love. Whoever made you feel like that obviously doesn't even deserve a second glance. I say, don't give them the pleasure making you feel bad, and don't let them know that, even if you feel like utter shit. Don't waste another moment thinking about what went wrong, focus on finding someone who recognizes how unbelievably cool/thoughtful/sensitive/caring you are. Carpe Diem!!!
