Never knew you went through what I went through. Yea, Anxiety, sorta like depression, my one friend asked me if I was depressed. I dunno, I just really know I screwed up. And I have a lot of work to do to fix my mistake. Everyone does make mistakes, But I love to learn. My parents are understanding, and they accept that I made a mistake. They are allowing me to take some time for myself. We'll see what happens.
Good luck :) Allow your self some time to do something other than school, jumping back in too soon will just allow you to make the same mistakes. I'm sure you'll do well, sometimes it just takes a few tries :-)
Sometimes you just have to take the kick in the ass that life presents you with and just kinda deal with it - it's what I'm doing right now. You don't enjoy it but you have to realize that life goes on and the stars are still within your grasp, you only have to reach again.

Sometimes it really just takes a few tries to get things right. I'm on my third attempt right now. Third attempt in 7 years to get a degree. Trust me, failing all your classes in one semester isn't going to kill you. I've managed it at least twice. You just have to go back and try again at some point. Get your GPA back up to at least a 2.0 because thats what most places require as a transfer. 2.0 and like 15 credits or somesuch.
After you transfer schools? That GPA is gone forever. Yeah, they'll see your official transcript so they can determine what classes transfer where. But they don't transfer the grades, or the GPA. Just the fact that the class was taken and passed.
I really hate one thing about the college I went to, it was the fact that it was a community college, I dunno, I think I need to get out of my house, and be on my own away from my parents. But yea, transferring is a tough one. I have no idea where I want to transfer.
i agree with all of the above, however sometimes college just isnt right for some people.. some people do better in thier lives where they failed in college etc.. college is a good thing, but its not the end of the world if you have to "actually work a job thats not degree based.." maybe at this point in your life you arent ready for the college scene, its ok. i am 29yrs old and i went back when i was about 25.. at that time i could handle the load of real life and school at the same time. you will be ok
Oh, I love to learn, I love feeling that excitement of accomplishing filling my brain with new and exciting things each day. I just have no ambition anymore, no desires, lost what I cared about. I have too many anxiety issues. I really gotta get over them. But I am going back As soon as I figure things out.
As the youngest one replying, and the studywart..who is going to start university (not in yet), and has school ocd it might not be my place to reply. School is what I use as a comfort, but for everything else I can relate, sometimes you really just have to fuck up to realize what you've got to do, I know for other things I've fucked up countless times however, yes it is possible, they're not psychopathic robots, they're people, they'll understand. Especially with all the difficult circumstances you have probably gone through.
