i hate driving in atlanta. because in most of the city there are three lanes, but not left turn lane, so you get stuck alllll the time!
my parents used to be crazy worried about me going places too. just give her a year after you start college and she'll probably be better. that's what happened with me.
Yeah, I've heard it really sucks. But maybe sticking to major roadways would make things simpler. I guess driving in Atlanta is just something you have to get used to.
Hopefully that's what will happen- I've always been 'the young one' even though I'm the oldest child, because everyone in my grade level is older than I am, along with some people in the grade lower. So I see all my friends start to be able to do things on their own, and my mind doesn't seem to want to understand that it's because they're older. Sure, we're in the same grade, but they've all had a year more life experience. Plus, I've got the whole teenage mentality where "OMGZZZZ IF I DON'T DO IT NOW I'LL NEVER BE ABLE TO," and though I know it may not be with the same people I will have known in high school, I'll get to experience everything eventually. Er. Except maybe the hard drugs some of them have done. I do plan on avoiding those. Trying to be rational is harder than letting my 'oh noes its not fare' emotions take over.
oh yeah i totally understand. once james marsters was going to be in atlanta for a convention, it was a while ago because i know i couldnt' drive yet, so i guess like 6 years? i dunno. but i was PISSED all summer about it. hey, i'm still a little mad because i still haven't gotten to meet him.
Oh, yeah. Elisabeth Röhm was in Atlanta last year, and I'm a fan of hers from both Angel and Law & Order, so I was pretty disappointed to not be able to see her then. Maybe someday. One of my friends got to meet her that time, so that simultaneously made it both better and worse. :D

I want to go conning. I've never gone to any cons before.
For real. I want to wear a pink wig.
...at least I'm assuming that's the kind of convention you're talking about. If it's not, please excuse me while I go and hide.
