Picture 2 I think is the best one. For one, he doesn't look like a zombie. For two, his hair still looks colorful enough. Iiiif you want the back wall to look less red, you can take your magic wand tool and select it (click + shift if it doesn't all select with one click) and then copy and paste it on a new layer to adjust the colors on it alone. Or there's clicking on the edit tab and using the...I think it's "replace color" option to just change the red on the wall. It'll have you select one particular color to adjust, although that might mess with his skin a bit which is why I suggested the other thing first.

Oh oh other option! Zexion is a video game so he has nice straight lines, so you can use the polygonal lasso tool to select the area you want. Right click on the lasso tool to see the other options for that button; one of them is polygonal. You just click on a start point and then another point to make a straight line and continue~ around~ until you come back to the origin point to close the selection. I LOVE THIS THING and use it to select Yayoi's hair for coloring her new icons all the time. And even if you don't get it perfect you'll never notice when you resize.

Have I ever mentioned that adjustment layers are my new bffs?

Hue/Saturation, Edit: Magenta, Saturation -100. How's that look?

I HAVEN'T VOTED BECAUSE I'M TORN. 1 looks closest to "pay your rent already you freeloaders" canon, while 2 looks closest to what he looks like in normal lighting.

IT'S OKAY I'M TORN TOO

It would be easier if 90% of my game icons weren't shot in an area with no light.

He looks so pretty in them. And. And. I don't need to crop around subtitles. It's so awesome.

... Wow, he really looks like. Not pale in C. Not what I expected. BUT.

I like Picture 2 best. Is there some way to add a bit of red into the image to get a less pale skin tone?

I'll keep working at it, but the most I've gotten so far has been pretty much what you see up there. The main problem I've had is that both his hair and his skin are predominantly in blue and cyan, so any adjustment to one effects the other.
