We have received our first batch of samples. Seeing as our numbers are so few, and this is a matter of immediate public attention, I am asking you all to stay at work in the laboratories until the primary analysis and reports are completed ( Read more... )

...Some days, Even, you do manage to make yourself incredibly useful.

I'll even bring you down some of your insufferably disgusting cold coffee.

We'll negotiate additional compensation for your efforts when the dust has cleared, I suppose.

Ienzo,

I would like to make a request-I'm not even sure if you even can at this moment... But it seems that in my attempt to request days off from classes in order for them to recover from this insomnia research, that other professors will not allow them off and taking points from their grade...

I guess the head professor of the Science Department just isn't enough to make sway. Is there anything you can do?

I should hope they would understand the utter necessity and priority of this research. In fact, I would think it qualifies any assistant or student who has shown his colours through voluntary overtime for immediate full-credited marks.

Hang the trite formalities of this already-rickety education system. Just whose counting, anyway? Adapt to conditions, otherwise the entire process of learning is rendered futile.

I'll bring this to the board, but I warn you it will get laughed off the minutes in these pressing times.

Well it is not... the Science professors complaining. Those English people and History people... and some sort of ridiculous Ethics class that they wont allow absents and these are classes some of these students need to graduate fully.

It's like trying to convince a bunch of... idiots. You know what, I said it. Idiots. And they are counting. Yes the education system is 'poor' here but there is a backbone and people are refusing to backing down because they hate the fact that the students are missing class to 'sleep in'.

As I thought... I thought it best to try, at least.

This is a city running on barebones population.

Our small and unprestigious academy, for one, should understand that it's influence is not terribly important in the grand scheme of things. And cede to urgent community needs.

Also, you might remind them they may find the education budget stretched precariously slim if they are going to fail out some of its most promising and contributing pupils. Mister ShinRa certainly doesn't need this nonsense now.
