The Archie comic was an "Archie goes to Comic-Con" thing done back in the 80's.
The Marvel one, Strikeforce Morituri, was longer term, I actually did signings as the character (once in Las Vegas). The artist is a friend, and based a couple of the characters on people he knew. My character, Toxyn, ran about 7 issues, but all the members of that team were "mutants with a short life span" kind of thing. It was tons of fun.
