Why thank you. I was worried. It's been awhile since I've written John/Rodney

The writing style is simple, but it is because of this simplicity that this piece packs a whole lot of punch. A great character study of Sheppard and his relationship with Rodney.

ETA: That last line almost killed me.

I was worried because there was barely any dialogue. I was really afraid it was going to sound wrong without it, but simple... I like that. It's simple.

Thanks for reading.

And to think I wasn't going to have that last line.

Oh, Clockie! I want to give you a smack up the back of the head, just like John does to Rodney. You finally start writing John/Rodney again and you give me angst??? Argh! Argh, I say!

(That was very good, though. It's just ... ARGH!)

Ha, no, please, no violence. I don't know what it is. I want them to suffer for some reason. I have no idea why. I love the boys and all, but seriously, suffer.

(Thanks, that's means a million *free cuddles*)

Beautiful story!

I loved John showing that he had the upper hand with the chess game. Angsty but in the good way. Really enjoyed this.

Another last minute addition. I usually just ignore Katie Brown, but that was too good to pass up.
