Hakuba eased through the doorway like a... well, like he owned the place and was surprised by the lack of sound and light that greet them. The boy quickly turned off the security system and turned up the lights

Naoto stepped inside and looked about, hearing her own footsteps echoing within the empty hall. She was used to such large spaces, as her own home was probably as large as Hakuba's, but what disturbed her most was the hollow silence. How could a single housekeeper (and two androids, if they actually performed cleaning duties) ever keep such a large house in order?
"It feels so... lonely," Naoto said softly. "Back at the estate, I could always hear the staff working, even if there wasn't much for them to do."

As Hakuba took her luggage, Naoto rolled her eyes a bit at being referred to as 'madam.'
"I'm hardly dressed for the part," she said as she swept a hand in front of her, indicating her decidedly masculine attire. She smiled at his attempt at humor. "But please, show me the way, if you would be so kind."
He decided not to comment about that, it was better that way. He laughed softly at her. He liked to mock people and Naoto was always so serious about her looks he couldn't help himself. "If you follow me please."
The guest room was in the second floor, it was big and well decorated. All that her mother didn't had in affection she had it in taste.
