So I'm going through 358/2 and looking through translations and stuff (when I can find them pertaining the britfag, yes I know he's not your precious Akuseru~*~*~*~ so no one cares to translate anything he says .__.) and decided to take some notes. Maybe spoilers?
- Bitch cannot keep his hands still. I swear to god. In the lobby, all the other members tend to just kinda sit there and
chill (or, in Demyx's case, play the sitar, sitar, wherever he goes, oh-whoa), but Luxord goes through this cycle of crossing his arms, bring one hand to his chin and staring at the ceiling/to the side/into space, then drops his hands into his lap for a while before doing it all over again. I'd say this was just, you know, normal recycling-animation behavior, but he's the only one who does this. At least to that extent (others might put their hands on their hips or something similar, but that's about all), anyway. Even when he's standing around, he looks pretty
spacey. gg, Luxord. (Xigbar
does it too, though.)
- On that note, bitch also likes waving his arms around a lot while he talks. That's more of a Nobody thing, though, but I should incorporate it more. b
- Also on that note:
sits with Xigbar a lot. I don't think they've outright spoken to one another in the game, but... idk, it's like Zexion and Lexaeus; they're always together in the lobby. Well, almost always. Let's just say if Luxord and Xigbar are in the room together, there's an 89% chance they'll be sitting together too. It just made me smile, shut up.
- Was innocent on the major "bad thing happening" in 358/2, which kinda surprised me. He even seemed genuinely shocked and a little judgmental when he found out what was going on (especially to Axel. I swear, there is a
long, drawn out shot of him staring up at Axel from his seat like :| while an awkward silence plays), but otherwise was just kinda "yeah. Don't tell the lower people the important information or anything, thx gais. :/" about the whole thing. Oh, Luxord. ♥
- Seems to be, what I like to call, a classy asshole. Meaning he tends to go on tl;drs, even in those tiny lobby conversations, but also has no qualms with making fun of you. There was a part where (and I can't read japanese, so not knowing what was happening just made the scene even funnier) Roxas walks in and, for the first time in the game, Luxord is waiting in the lobby to have a proper conversation with you. At first he's just like "Oh, hello, Roxas. How are you?", but then he immediately starts taunting him and laughing and, after making
this face, Roxas just turned around and ran out of the room. I later found out he was loling and taunting about Xion going into a mini-coma (she gets better), but man. Just... seeing that played out with no idea of what was being talking about? I lol'd.
- Would rather be
Solid Snake and make a little game of sneaking around enemies with Roxas rather than just, idk, teleporting to where you need to go. >[ Goddamn it, Luxord, even Xaldin teleports through a door if he wants to be sneaky. It was pretty fun though, so. :(
- Slow runner is slow and, as said by Sra, tends to be lazy and just teleport after you rather than running faster. Also jumps like white boy, which is to say not very well. Also doesn't do a lot a of damage with his cards, but it's hard to get near him since he's good at knocking shit into the air and attacking from a distance. Pretty good with magic, too. b
- All the members have more than one version of their weapons, all of them with specific names. Luxord's default cards and ones he uses in KHII are called Fair Game. The others are The Fool, The Magician, The Star, The Moon, Justice, The Hierophant, The World, Temperance, The High Priestess, The Tower, The Hanged Man, Death, The Hermit, Strength, The Lovers, The Chariot, The Sun, The Devil, The Empress, The Emperor, The Joker, Ultimate Illusion 13 (joke weapon. Apparently, they're FFXIII game disks and not the cds I thought they were), and Gambler's Charm (joke weapon the second--giant four leaf clovers, foo~). It made me way too happy to note most of these are named after the Major Arcana, meaning I may have been onto something with all that card-reading. He's only missing Judgment and The Wheel of Fortune, the latter I find a little weird, considering he's the Gambler of FATE. >[ Get on the ball, Luxord.
- All members of Organization XIII apparently sleep with their uniforms on. This makes me lol for some reason, mostly because it looks like they do this even in an FMV, meaning it isn't just lazy programming.
- Curious Nobody is curious. Apparently, Luxord's a firm believer in just going off and getting sidetracked, encouraging Roxas to do the same (in Wonderland, Roxas tells him about the White Rabbit while they're on their mission. Luxord tells him that, since it isn't related to the Heartless they're looking for and therefore wouldn't be all that detrimental, there's no harm in following it around just to see where it takes them). He tends to think that, if you follow your curiosity, so many more doors will open than if you just let it slide, but also warns if you're TOO curious, it can lead to an early grave (Roxas comments that this is a cheery thought).
- Apparently DOES read cards. When you go up to him in the lobby while Xion is missing, Luxord will comment with "Xion's whereabouts? Shall I ask the cards for you?" so HAHA, I WAS FUCKING RIGHT. :)

Day 173 - Gamble
Sometimes, I grow envious of these children. Perhaps there’s some kind of fundamental difference between those who have become Nobodies as adults and those who lost their hearts before then. For us adults, there are many things that we have already bet with and lost just as a part of human life. Still, I suppose children can also play dangerously, if they so wished. Despite this, maybe they just don’t see the world as I do, as a game.
Day 257 - Card Results
The air is buzzing here, for some reason or another, and most will lose the bets they made in times such as these. If one wins regardless of the skewed odds, however, their victory will be all the larger. I am curious as to just who will be able to claim a winning hand at the end of it all.
uuuuuuum, I'll add more when I think of them. :o
