for my philosophy of death and dying class i had to keep a daily journal of three things i was thankful for that day, three gifts, and it should have been the easiest thing but i didn't do it so now i have to sit here some time before monday and make up three months worth of things im thankful for. you figure it out ( Read more... )

I was in a similar situation this fall in my quality of life class. I had to write two months of daily reflections in a weekend. You know what, though? It was interesting putting myself through my recent past trying to remember actions, events, and emotions. It was easy to see patterns and priorities. If you really try to put yourself back into your own head, in a manner of speaking, it might be a somewhat enlightening experience.

i thought it would be self-revealing in some way and maybe it would be if i had done it. instead i just made most of it up. except the part about making the right connection for once
