Thank you for reading! ^^

I was toying with the idea of a sequel focused on China's turn to communism as a solution for his problems, but relations between the 3 countries (China, Japan, Korea) just get depressing after this point so I decided not to even touch it. x_x

Thanks so much for commenting! It's interesting to read your interpretations of the characters and I think you totally understood the fic, so I'm really glad. ♥

And ahh, I watched a couple episodes of Journey to the West but I didn't actually know that Chang E was in it, probably because my Chinese is so poor. e_e So thanks for letting me know that! With the rabbit ceasing to make medicine I did want to convey that idea of China's traditions beginning to come apart as well, so again, I'm glad that message was clear.

I'm glad you liked the fic!

oh frick, I was listening to http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RtPm5GiJ_iM when I read part three of your story.

I'm actually a big fan of chinese mythology (watched Journey to the West w/ my parents all the time when I was a kid haha) and I really enjoyed seeing how you made that not a huge part of your fic, but enough to impact it.

As for how you wrote the countries...absolutely amazing @_@ You wrote them the way they are, none of them as evil jerkfaces or as perfect angels, just like how history is.

gaaaahh am going to stalk the rest of your fanfiction now D:

aww man, that is a beautiful song. ;_;

Thanks so much for the comment! ♥ I tried hard to write the characters so they could all be easily empathized with despite most of the story being told from China's POV, so I'm glad they came out neither evil nor perfect, but just human. Thanks for reading!
