This is exactly the thing. People are being sacked on the basis of accusation and yet someone who brags about grabbing women by the genitals is elected President? How does that work?!

I'm not hearing the right cheering the left for punishing harassers. I'm hearing them lead the charge in re "I'm afraid this is going to turn into a witch hunt. Is EVERYTHING harassment now? Whatever happened to 'innocent until proven guilty?' I fear mob rule and the court of public opinion!"
The right is not immune. Another Republican stepped down yesterday, for going Handmaid's Tale on two women who were on his staff. So he's gone, and that's good.
And, clearly, as we have seen -- especially recently -- no one group (political, religious, etc.) has a monopoly on the "moral high ground."
Like I think I’ve said elsewhere - the lightning (all this anger powering the last election and it’s aftermath) is looking for a place to strike. The right is proving itself to be immune to it, though they unleashed it as a way forward.
