So I haven't been posting much, I know. It's just that there doesn't seem to be much going on of late.
I have some tidbits, though.
The work-friend who does the 3D printing and I have collaborated on a few projects. He prints things, and I paint/detail them. It started out with me just planning to teach him to detail paint things, but he doesn't have the patience or steady hands, so I'm just doing it.
Here is a model of The Nautilus from the 1950s Disney movie 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea. I had fun painting this, and it was my first foray into painting miniatures like this since college, really:
Another model is of a gun from the video game Destiny, which he is big into. It looks like this (from the game):
Here are Work Friend Tyler modeling the finished product, plus a couple views. I'm pretty pleased with the paint job:
Clay recently was asked to use his comsmetological experience to perform a hair coloring for our (honorary) neice:
Lastly, I recently saw this in a junk store not far from home. Check the date:
That's SEVENTEEN THIRTY FOUR. And no, I didn't buy it, though it was only 20 bucks!
Uploading pics has taken, like, all morning, so I'm wrapping this up. More sooner than later, I hope!
