About Time
I figured it was about time I updated this goddamned thing. I read everyone’s posts (sometimes considerably after they’re written) but hardly ever set aside the time to write one myself.

Very sorry to hear of the sudden taking of your supervisor. This virus has definitely upended what we can expect about saying good-bye, even if someone has the misfortune of going for unrelated reasons; my brother-in-law was lucky enough to have a few minutes with his mother before her passing, the only of his three siblings to do so.
I am also, I think, losing weight, but otherwise captivity is not really bothering me. I have been, av-geek that I am, following what is happening with the air-lines, and of course it makes sense that there'll be a knock-on effect on manufacturers and suppliers. I wonder if we'll see the A380's premature sunset as I can't imagine a market right now which will be drawing that many people at a time.
Sympathies to all the young folks who will be sent mothball-less into pasture.
