Moving along

On the weekend I was sent a double-page composite of the final cover art. And it makes me think - wow, this is really happening. It really looks like a book! It's got the little barcode on it and the company logo stamp and everything! And the designer really killed himself over the pattern on the back (you'll know when you see it ( Read more... )

Late June....just in time for Anime Expo and Comic-Con though, I believe. *can't wait* X3

I'll let you know about any typos and stuff, haha~ :P

*can't wait* Oh......speaking of scanners, which one do you recommend? Someone told me Epson. I'm mainly looking for one that ahs a bigger scanning bed, just like you said when I showed you that comic page. Haha. :P

I will probably be going for a Canon, like my old one - it lasted five years, after all! HP is another good brand. Epson - never used one, but they seem reputable.

Yeah, they're shipping a stack of titles to be out by the mid year cons. And if you pick up a typo in a printed version...I'm not sure I'll want to know about it at that stage!

Any specific type with the scanner bed larger than 8.5 x 11? So far on the Canon site, it just has 8.5 x 11 for the scanning size.

Nope, just that standard size. I have to scan each page twice (top half and bottom half) then attach them seamlessly in photoshop. It's a pain, but larger scanners are ridiculously expensive.

I've only been to Mid City Camera World once. The staff were awful to me too, which is why I've only been there once. Fletchers is good too, I know the guy who owns it.

What the heck is with them? The guy had so much attitude, the only way he could have been ruder was to simply ask me to leave the shop! They are not getting my money in the future!

lol. It was ok. there were a number of dead bodies carved up in bizzare ways, it was probably to grab the attention of the audience before they get deeper into the story line but hopefully they start on it next episode or they have lost me. It really could go either way

Yeah, I can't wait until it's out! It won't feel real until then.

I am giving them a few weeks to let it sink in, and I still expect some weirdness. My dad doesn't trust 'home office' type jobs, so we'll see!

Gmail isn't working for me so I'm posting here. I'm gonna study in the library so don't wait for me. I'll pick up something for you on the way from the store.

I'm examining her hands. She doesn't have carpal tunnel syndrome.
